The Palestinian Prisoner Club (PPC) said that the Israeli occupation prevented the entry of the winter clothes which Palestinian families sent to their sons inside the Israeli prison.
According to the PPC, all the families of the Palestinian prisoners have bought winter clothes and other kits for their sons and sent them to the prison.
“However, the Israeli prison service had accepted the clothes and the other kits, but the prisoners said that they did not receive anything,” a statement issued by the PPC said.
The PPC noted that the Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails, mainly the prisons in Al-Naqab Desert suffer too much from the freezing weather in winter.
It is worth mentioning that around 1,000 out of more than 7,500 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails suffer from different health problems.
Recent reports revealed that at least 250 of the 1,000 prisoners suffer from serious diseases and do not have free access to proper medical care.
