Zionist Forces Beef up to Face the Palestinian “Day of Rage”

Palestinians are staging massive demonstrations after Friday prayers to condemn the continuing Zionist violations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

IOF at Al-AqsaThis morning, clashes broke out between the worshipers in al-Aqsa mosque and the occupation forces after they banned those under the age of forty years of access the mosque. "In light of intelligence received indicating the intention of Arab youths to disturb the peace at Friday prayers on Temple Mount, it was decided to limit the age of Muslim worshippers," claimed a police statement, using the Hebrew term for Al-Aqsa holy mosque.

The Zionist police beefed up their numbers in Al-Quds to face the worshipers and closed roads in the Old City.

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas dubbed this day a "day of rage" to coincide with the Friday prayers.

Several Palestinians were injured this week after the Israeli occupation forces clashed with worshipers in Al-Aqsa mosque firing a barrage of sound bombs, toxic tear gas and rubber bullets on them and causing damage to the sacred mosque.

Russian intelligence exposes the diabolical U.S. plot in Syria

The Syrian refugee problem was maturing slowly steadily and would have provided the perfect pretext for a US-led ‘humanitarian intervention’ in that country. But Russia is there first and the best-laid American plan may have gone awry.
The US’ Middle East policies have been fixated obsessively on ‘regime change’ in Syria for at least a decade ever since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. (The original neocon agenda had envisaged regime changes in Iraq, Iran and Syria, but it got derailed as the killing fields in Iraq began dictating the geopolitics.)
It stands to reason that the Russian intelligence has caught on to the US’ diabolical plot to create a fait accompli in Syria on the ground. Washington’s Faustian deal with Turkey and President Barack Obama’s authorization for air strikes in Syria (including against government forces), the haste with which Britain and Australia joined the US’ bombing mission on Syria, NATO statements, the behind-the-scenes undercutting by the US of Moscow’s robust efforts to kickstart an intra-Syrian peace process – the tell-tale signs on the politico-military plane were there aplenty.
But the clincher would have been the Russian intelligence input. In a rare public disclosure on Sunday during an interview with the state television – probably prearranged with deliberation – Russian Foreign Minister hinted at the hidden American agenda in Syria behind the so-called fight to ‘degrade and defeat’ the Islamic State. Lavrov said,
  • I hope I would not fail anyone by saying some of our counterparts, members of the coalition, say they sometimes have information about where, at which positions are the IS certain groups, but the coalition’s commander /in the U.S. naturally/ would not agree to deliver a strike.
  • Our American counterparts either from the very beginning were establishing the coalition not enough thoroughly, or the idea was it should have the goals other from those declared. The coalition was formed very spontaneously: within just a few days they declared it was ready, certain countries have joined, and they began some strikes.
  • Analysis of the coalition’s aviation causes weird impressions. The suspicions are (that) besides the declared goal of fighting the Islamic State there is something else in that coalition’s goals. I do not want to make any conclusions – it is not clear what impressions, information of higher ideas the commander may have – but signals of the kind are coming.
Lavrov is a highly experienced and brilliant diplomat. Most certainly, he wouldn’t have made an off-the-cuff remark of this sort. To be sure, the proxy war in Syria has acquired a terrible beauty. Lavrov has politely told the US to back off from undercutting Russia’s decision to go for the jugular veins of the IS — or else, there will be mud on Obama’s face. In plain terms, Lavrov has signaled to Washington that Moscow knows about the American game plan to foster the IS as its cats paw to be eventually inserted into Russia’s underbelly in Central Asia and North Caucasus.
Of course, Russian intelligence must be aware that hundreds of fighters have travelled from Russia to join the IS. (Actually, Abu Omar Shishani, an ethnic Chechen, is a prominent IS commander.) Given this grim reality, Moscow has decided to draw a red line. It has concluded that the IS poses a significant menace to the Muslim-majority regions of Russia’s north Caucasus.
The seriousness with which Moscow has taken this looming threat to its national security is evident from the decision by President Vladimir Putin to visit the UN General Assembly in New York later this month to make a high-profile call for international cooperation to defeat the IS.
The parallel tracks – stepping up of military involvement in Syria on the ground and the opening up of a diplomatic track through the UN podium – aim at defeating the US’ attempt to repeat the cold war era strategy of pitting militant Islam against Russia by isolating Washington.
The Russian diplomacy through the recent past has aimed at developing extensive networking in the Muslim Middle East. The effort seems to be paying off. Interestingly, Lavrov all but disclosed during the TV interview in Moscow yesterday that the US’ regional allies in the Middle East themselves have developed misgivings about Washington’s real intentions vis-à-vis the IS. It is a stunning disclosure, indeed.
Equally, Lavrov lifted the veil a little bit to let the Americans know that the Russian military intelligence has not only been monitoring the operations of the American military aircraft in Iraq but have scientifically analyzed the US aircraft’s flight plans and so on. In sum, Russians seem to have intelligence dope to substantiate something that the Iranians have been all along maintaining, namely, that the American aircraft are regularly airdropping supplies for the IS.
To be sure, the assertive Russian military move on Syria has taken Washington by surprise. Short of putting American boots on the ground in Syria, Washington’s options to push back at the Russians are limited. Greece and Iran have conveyed to Russia that they will provide air clearance for Russian aircraft flying to Syria. (Washington had pulled strings in Athens to deny clearance for Russian aircraft.)
But the biggest setback for the US’ containment strategy against Russia in Syria is stemming from the dramatic change in the mood of the European countries that are beset with the Syrian refugee problem. The Schengen visa system, which has been the pride of the European Union and a symbol of European unity, has overnight packed up and border controls have reappeared across the region. (here and here).
The call by German Chancellor Angela Merkel that Europe and Russia must cooperate over Syria is a signpost of the shape of things to come. Quite obviously, Moscow must be sensing sees that the mood in Europe is becoming increasingly unfavorable for the Americans to push their containment strategy against Russia — not only over Syria but also Ukraine. (See my blog Ukraine tensions easing, but US won’t let go easily.)
The point is, the Europeans can’t be accepting it that they are being called upon by the US to handle the debris falling out of the covert US strategy to fuel a civil war to overthrow the established government of President Bashar Al-Assad in Syria. President Obama intends to prepare America to accept a token 10000 Syrian refugees next year, but it is not even a drop in the bucket, considering that 4 million people, one fifth Syria’s population, have fled the country since the war began in 2011.
This must be turning into the biggest foreign-policy disaster of the Obama presidency. The US is caught between the rock and a hard place. Russia is unlikely to budge despite the US displaying annoyance, since its core interests of national security are involved in the fight against the IS for which it needs the participation of the Syrian government forces.
On the other hand, US’ regional allies and the neocons at home are pressing Obama ‘to do something’, while the European allies, on the contrary, have made it clear that they want an end to the conflict in Syria. The only option open to the US will be to dump the IS altogether and bury the project to manipulate militant Islamist groups as an instrument of its regional policies and to further its containment strategy against Russia. But then, it is not so easy to kill one’s own progenies.

Israel Imprisons Muhammad Allan Again

Allan was imprisoned earlier uncharged and untried solely for political reasons, held indefinitely under lawless administrative detention. He committed no crimes, nor was he accused of any.

His heroic 66-day hunger strike left him close to death - and according to doctors, brain-damaged. After Israel’s High Court ordered his detention suspended, he remained hospitalized in Israel - then lawlessly rearrested on September 16 and again imprisoned.

According to Palestinian Prisoners Society head Qadura Fares, Israel reinstated his administrative detention - what he nearly gave his life for resisting.

Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri issued a statement, saying “Muhammad Allan, whose condition has improved, was arrested this morning by police at the hospital in Ashkelon.”

After being discharged to go home, his long ordeal continues. He now faces deplorable mistreatment in Ramla prison hospital, notorious for medical negligence, systematically denying proper treatment, willfully inflicting greater pain and suffering.

Allan faces indefinite administrative detention, uncharged and untried, forever if Israeli authorities order it. His only chance for justice may be hunger striking again until death.

His father wanted him transferred to a Nablus hospital near home - to continue his long struggle back to good health.

“My son told me that he doesn’t trust (Israelis), and if they break their promise to him, he will resume his hunger strike immediately," he said.

He’ll likely begin straightaway. It was too much to hope that his long ordeal ended. It continues under a ruthless, racist, Arab-hating regime.

Claiming Allan is a threat was Israel’s fabricated reason for imprisoning him, denying him due process to defend himself - like thousands of other Palestinian prisoners languishing in Israel’s gulag.

Maan News said he told his attorney: “Administrative detention returns us to slavery, and therefore I refuse to be a slave to anyone.”

“The truth is that I currently prefer hunger as long as freedom is the goal in the absence of law in Israeli courts. So, I found myself forced to fight this battle.” His long ordeal continues.

Separately, Netanyahu intends deploying IDF snipers with orders to use live fire against Palestinian youths and children stone-throwers - escalated police state violence, assuring greater state-sponsored murder than already.

“It has been decided to toughen the measures in many areas,” he said. “A modification of the rules of engagement will be examined as well as the establishment of a minimum penalty for those who throw stones.”

New rules include “significant fines,” lengthy prison sentences and shoot-to-kill orders, permitting indiscriminate murder, more criminality by a ruthless, rogue regime.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces assaulted Palestinian men, women and Al-Aqsa guards near the compound for the fourth straight day. Injured victims needed hospital treatment.

PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi said “Israel is playing with fire. Clearly, Israel is deliberately creating and escalating a situation of instability, insecurity and violence, thereby incrementally assuring by force its power/security control in preparation for the total annexation and transformation of Al-Haram Al-Sharif.”

“By imposing its own version of its concept of the Temple Mount on the third most holiest Islamic site, Israel is not only provoking the Palestinians, but the entire Muslim world.”

“We call on the international community, including Arab countries and Muslim states, to intervene immediately before Israel succeeds in launching a global holy war.”

Extremist Israeli officials want a third Jewish temple replacing Al-Aqsa. They want Muslims excluded from their third holiest site. They want it exclusively for Jews.

World leaders are dismissive - one-sidedly supporting Israel’s worst crimes at the expense of fundamental Palestinian rights.

PFLP holds Israel responsible for the life of Muhammad Allan, demands his freedom

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine holds the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for the life of the imprisoned struggler, brother Muhammad Allan, who today faces death, jailed and hospitalized after 60 days of hunger strike. The Front urges action and mobilization by all friends of Palestine and by our Palestinian people, everywhere in the world, demanding his immediate freedom.
In a statement released today, Comrade Khaled Barakat, coordinator of the International Campaign to Free Ahmad Sa’adat, said that “we hold Israel fully accountable for the life of Muhammad Allan, the heroic imprisoned Palestinian struggler. Israel is responsible for his life and must bear the consequences if he dies.”
“Muhammad Allan, if he dies, will not be the first Palestinian executed by Israel within its dungeons, through torture, denial of medical care or forced feeding. Four Palestinian prisoners – Abdul Qader Abul Fahem, Ali al-Jaabari, Rasim Halawa, and Ishaq Maragha – were killed by force-feeding – with which Allan is threatened today, even as he lies in a coma,” Barakat said.
“Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and had their lives taken inside Israeli prisons over decades of occupation, but he would be the first Palestinian prisoner to die on hunger strike. The liberation martyrs whose lives have ben taken by colonizers as they hunger strike for justice and freedom – like Bobby Sands and his 9 Irish comrades in British prison – are immortal symbols of struggle that belong to global movements for justice and liberation,” said Barakat.
“The case of Muhammad Allan illustrates that Palestinians will continue to struggle by all means until they defeat administrative detention. We know that this is a long and brutal battle, as it is a system that serves the interests of the occupation and that they are not willing to relinquish. It is a system that was inherited from the era of British colonialism in Palestine, which means that we hold Britain responsible for Muhammad Allan and for every Palestinian who is and has been held in administrative detention,” Barakat said.
“However,” he noted, “The popular forces of freedom, justice and liberation around the world, marching side by side with the Palestinian people, will be victorious and will bring down administrative detention. And they will be victorious in winning the liberation of Palestinian prisoners and of Palestine itself.”
“Brother Muhammad Allan demonstrates true Palestinian heroism and courage,” Barakat said. “He follows in the steps of many other Palestinian prisoners, using his last resource to confront the occupation, even through hunger. We are witnessing the birth of new young Palestinian leaders in the arena of confrontation with the occupation: Lina Khattab, Khader Adnan, Muhammad Allan. This is the case and experience of every colonized and oppressed people who rise up for their liberation.”
“Finally, Israel must bear the consequences and pay for its crimes. Israel has enjoyed global impunity thanks to the support of the United States and fellow imperial powers. This must come to an end through the efforts of Palestinian resistance and revolution, supported by the people of the world,” Barakat said. “Otherwise, the business of occupation, killing and torture will continue as business as usual.”
“There is a need to build the international campaign against administrative detention. This should be a priority and part of the efforts of the international movement to boycott Israel, as the prisoners emphasized in their latest statement,” Barakat said. “We need to hear the voices of the world demanding freedom for Muhammad Allan, demanding freedom for our imprisoned leaders.”

Saudi Detainee Appeals End to Saudi Aggression on Neighboring Yemen

Local Editor

Military media in Yemen broadcast a video footage of one of the Saudi soldiers who were arrested by the Yemeni army and people’s committees during the confrontations on the border front with Saudi Arabia.

detained Saudi soldierThe prisoner named Ibrahim Arraj Mohammed Hakami of the Fourth Battalion, First Brigade, based in Jizan.

Al-Hakami thanked the Yemeni army and People’s Committees who “have dealt with us in the best ways and provided us with all the needs.”

“The Saudi army and the Defense Ministry should stop this war which is of no benefit but the destruction and killing of our brothers in Yemen,” he appealed in the name of the detained Saudi soldiers.

“Do not believe what you are told of the justifications for this war and we are brothers in religion and neighbors and this war is an abuse of the relationship between us and neighboring Yemen,” the prisoner added.

The Saudi detainee appeared in very good condition and assured his family that he was fine and wished to meet them soon.

The End of Israel?

A distinct possibility, I would say. By the way, as the fourth and final blood moon of the tetrad approaches, chaos and pandemonium have broken out at the Al Aqsa Mosque. Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers have repeatedly stormed the mosque, while Palestinians have fought to hold them off.
This has been particularly intense of late with the Jewish fall holiday season upon us. Yesterday was Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year; Yom Kippur is coming up starting on September 22, while the blood moon lunar eclipse will take place September 28, on Sukkot.
Much of these clashes we are now seeing appear to be motivated by a strong desire by certain Jewish organizations, such as the Temple Institute, to rebuild a Jewish temple at the site. You can click here to access a report posted today at the Electronic Intifada, or  check out an article I wrote last year entitled The Abomination of Desolation and which covers much the same ground. The difference between then and now is that the movement to tear down the Al Aqsa Mosque and replace it with a “Third Temple” has gained steam. Quite a bit of it.
According to Ma’an News, the clashes have now expanded from the Al Aqsa Mosque compound all the way across East Jerusalem, and quite naturally in the course of all this, we are hearing about Israeli brutalities, including attacks against children. Here is one such report.

Hezbollah captures Israeli-made weapons from mercenary-terrorists in al-Zabadani

Israeli-Made Weapons Seized by Hezbollah in Zabadani
(FNA) ~ A large cache of Israeli-made weapons was seized in Zabadani region during the mop-up operations by the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement.
After 10 days of the Syrian army and Hezbollah troops’ massive operations to cleanse different districts in Southwestern Zabadani region, efforts still continue to discover the terrorists’ linking tunnels and hideouts.
Only on Monday morning, Hezbollah forces could purge the terrorists from nearly 15 residential blocks in the Eastern part of al-Jasr mosque.
Also they arrested three members of Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group during their house to house searching in Zabadani.
Hezbollah forces also discovered and seized a large cache of Israeli-made weapons and military equipment in areas near al-Rahmah mosque in the Central parts of Zabadani.
The Syrian army and popular forces retook the city of Zabadani from terrorists on September 1.
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces almost completed their mop-up operations in the city of Zabadani that was seized back from the terrorists last Wednesday.
“The resistance forces have purged terrorists from Zabadani in a two-day operation,” an informed source told FNA.
The source reiterated that the terrorists had dug tunnels underneath the buildings in Zabadani to get to other parts of the city.
Then on Thursday, Israel attacked a position of the Syrian Army in Zabadani that was used by government and Hezbollah’s joint troops to pound terrorists, according to a military source.
The Israeli Air Force has carried out airstrikes against an artillery position of the Syrian Army near the town of Zabadani, around 45 km (28 miles) from Syria’s capital Damascus, a military source told Sputnik on Thursday.
“Israeli Air Force planes carried out airstrikes at an artillery position belonging to the Syrian Army,” the source said. “The artillery was used by the army to repel attacks from militants in the eastern part of Zabadani.”
The source added that terrorists attacked Syrian army positions on the east side of Zabadani in the early hours of Thursday. The Syrian military, supported by the artillery shelling, managed to repel the attack after a three-hour battle.
After the Israeli Air Force carried out the airstrike, militants reportedly launched a second assault attempt, also repelled by the government’s forces, according to the source.

72-Hour Ultimatum to Surrender in Zabadani-2

Military Analysts: “The fall of Zabadani would be a disaster for Israel, worst than the fall of Tel Aviv”

Syrian Free Press, 21 August 2015 ~ According Wasef Erekat, Palestinian retired general and military expert, the resumption of Zabadani by the Syrian army and Hezbollah would be a major military defeat for Israel, also greater than the fall of Tel Aviv.
Interviewed by Al Mayadeen, the retired General has focalised his analysis on the strategic situation of the Golan.
“Israel seeks simply to totally impound the Golan Heights. Israel henceforth feels the need to launch limited attacks against the Golan, to ensure some achievements in this strategic region”… … …read more… … …

PFLP Calls for Unity and Action in Occupied Jerusalem to Confront Zionist Attacks

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine called for the reformation of a unified national leadership in occupied Jerusalem, in order to confront the systematic war waged by the Zionist occupation of the city and its holy sites, especially as the situation holds the potential for the outbreak of a massive uprising, behind which all must unite and participate.
“The criminal aggression by the Zionist enemy, breaking into Al-Aqsa Mosque and invading various neighborhoods of Jerusalem, requires the convening of emergency sessions of the PLO Executive Committee and Central Council, in order to take a decision to form a unified national leadership for the start of a popular Intifada. This leadership must involve all of the factions, without exception, and the leadership of young people and various sectors of society. This moment holds the potential to spark a popular uprising,” said Comrade Abu Ahmad Fuad, Deputy General Secretary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The Front emphasized that the escalating serious events in occupied Jerusalem require a unified national leadership that is prepared to direct the mass movement in Jerusalem, support the steadfastness of the Palestinian peple of the city, and activate Popular Committees to confront the terror of the occupation, its army and its colonists. The official Palestinian bodies and authorities have entirely failed to meet their responsibilities about the Zionist attack on Jerusalem, amid Arab official silence and international imperialist complicity with the Zionist entity.
The Front considered that the risks to Jerusalem are real and systematic, a war in the true sense of the word. The occupation has begun the implementation of its plans to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially, and continues to attack, invade and wound dozens inside it, attacking journalists in order to prevent them from sharing the truth, as well as attacking ambulances and abducting the injured for arrest and interrogation. These striking developments come alongside the actions of the criminal Israeli state under Netanyahu in further repressing “stone-throwers” with massive prison sentences and threats of sniper fire.
The Front demanded the Palestinian resistance factions exercise their power to target the Zionist entity militarily, in particular its security and military positions and colonies, and saying that the West Bank and Jerusalem will rise up to confront the occupation in a state of permanent clashes and confrontation. The Front saluted the people of the city of Jerusalem, its youth, men, women, children and elders who continue to resist Zionist terror.

Assad: West Cries for Refugees with One Eye, Aims Gun with the Other

Local Editor

Syrian President Bashar Assad said on Tuesday that Europe is "not dealing with the cause" of the current refugee crisis, adding that all the West now is crying for the refugees with one eye and aiming at them with a machinegun with the second one.

"Actually those refugees left Syria because of the terrorism, mainly because of the terrorists and because of the killing, and second because of the results of terrorism. When you have terrorism, and you have the destruction of the infrastructure, you won’t have the basic needs of living, so many people leave because of the terrorism and because they want to earn their living somewhere in this world," he said.

“It’s not about that Europe didn’t accept them or embrace them as refugees, it’s about not dealing with the cause. If you are worried about them, stop supporting terrorists," Assad said during an interview with Russian media outlets.

"If we ask any Syrian today about what they want, the first thing they would say - 'We want security and safety for every person and every family'," the Syrian President stated, noting that political forces, whether inside or outside the government, “should unite around what the Syrian people want."

Syrian President Bashar al-AssadAddressing the reforms that the opposition groups are calling on the government to implement, Assad said that terrorism is an obstacle for every step forward.

"If you want to implement anything real, it’s impossible to do anything while you have people being killed, bloodletting hasn’t stopped, people feel insecure," he said.

Moreover, Assad said that the dialogue in Syria should be continued "in order to reach the consensus," which cannot be implemented "unless we defeat the terrorism in Syria."

He also went on to talk about the "Syrian fabric" that includes people of many ethnicities and sects, including the Kurds.

"They are not foreigners," the Syrian president said, highlighting that without such groups of people who have been living in the region for centuries "there wouldn’t have been a homogeneous Syria."

"I would like to take this opportunity to call on all forces to unite against terrorism, because it is the way to achieve the political objectives which we, as Syrians, want through dialogue and political action," Bashar Assad said.
