Shallah: Jerusalem events final offensive before judaization of the holy city

ISTANBUL, (PIC)-- Dr. Ramadan Shallah, the secretary general of the Islamic Jihad Movement, has warned that the recent Zionist escalation in occupied Jerusalem was the last offensive before the complete judaization of the holy city.

Shallah told a solidarity rally with Jerusalem held in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Sunday evening that what was taking place in Jerusalem was targeting the holy city and its Arabism and Islamism.

"This is our last chance to prove that we are still a living Nation," he added.

The Jihad leader said that Israel was unilaterally drawing the fate of Jerusalem, adding that it was not working secretly but rather all its schemes are public. He warned that if Israel was left to complete the judaization of Jerusalem it would then head toward imposing hegemony on all capitals of the Islamic world.

For his part, Palestinian culture minister in Gaza Strip Dr. Osama Al-Aisawi hailed the Palestinians in Jerusalem and Palestine occupied in 1948 for their brave defense of their land and for preserving the cultural and Islamic heritage of occupied Jerusalem and the holy Aqsa Mosque.

In an interview with the PIC, Dr. Aisawi called for more steadfastness to foil the Israeli attempts to judaize occupied Jerusalem.
